Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We only collect the minimum information necessary to provide our service:

• Email address — used for account creation and passwordless sign-in via verification code
• Practice progress — questions answered, scores, wrong answer history, and subscription expiry date
• Anonymous device identifier — a randomly generated ID stored on your device to track anonymous usage statistics (not linked to any personal information unless you create an account)
• Push notification token — if you grant permission, we store a device token to send you study reminders and important updates. You can revoke this at any time in your device settings.
• Anonymous analytics data — we use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about app usage (such as app launches and feature interactions) to help improve the service. This data does not identify you personally.

We do NOT collect your name, phone number, precise location, or payment card details. Payments are processed by Apple In-App Purchase (iOS), Google Play (Android), or Stripe/PayPal (web) — we never see or store your card details.

Account registration is optional. You can use the app and take practice tests as a guest without creating an account. An account is only required to sync your progress across devices, access your wrong answer history, and manage your subscription.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Create and manage your account
• Save and sync your practice progress across devices
• Send verification code emails for sign-in
• Manage your Pro subscription status
• Send push notifications (study reminders, important updates) — only if you have granted permission
• Improve the app through anonymous usage analytics

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider with encryption in transit and at rest. We store only your email address, practice progress, wrong answer history, subscription expiry date, and (if granted) push notification token.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — secure database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy)
• Resend — for sending verification code emails (resend.com/privacy)
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics (policies.google.com/privacy)
• Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) — for iOS push notifications (apple.com/legal/privacy)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — for Android push notifications (policies.google.com/privacy)

5. Push Notifications

We may send push notifications to your device if you have granted permission. These notifications may include study reminders and important app updates. You can manage or disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

We store your device's push notification token in order to deliver these messages. This token is not used for any other purpose.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

You can delete your account directly within the app: go to the My tab → scroll to the bottom → tap Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data, including your email address, practice progress, wrong answer history, subscription status, and push notification token.

You may also request deletion by contacting us at support@test-4-x.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Test4X is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
• Withdraw consent at any time

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
